Julie Greenwood - Chief Executive Advisor

Julie Greenwood has dedicated over 35 years to education and remains deeply passionate about making a difference for children, colleagues, and communities. Throughout her career, Julie has led numerous schools as Headteacher, supporting those in vulnerable positions — including those in Special Measures or Requires Improvement — to make rapid and sustainable improvement to become good or better schools. As the founding CEO of Leigh Trust, she helped shape its strong reputation for care, collaboration, and improvement across seven schools in Birmingham and Walsall.

Now as Chief Executive Advisor, Julie works alongside the CEO, COO, and Executive Team to guide the Trust’s strategic direction. Her leadership is driven by the belief that when we care for and invest in our people, our children achieve their very best — a reflection of the Trust’s motto, “Together Everyone Achieves More.”
